Prof. Seroala Tsoeu-Ntokoane is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political and Administrative Studies and a Senior Research Associate at the Energy Research Centre, National University of Lesotho. She has more than twenty years of university teaching, research and postgraduate supervision experience across undergraduate, Master’s and doctoral levels. Her academic and research interests span public policy analysis, development management, gender studies, governance and decentralisation, informal economies, climate politics and energy democracy. Her recent scholarship has focused particularly on energy democracy, rural electrification, community participation and the politics of energy transitions in Lesotho and Africa. She has published extensively on community engagement, renewable energy, household energy transitions and citizen participation in energy governance. Prof. Tsoeu-Ntokoane has also undertaken research and policy work with government institutions, civil society organisations and international development partners, and continues to contribute to interdisciplinary research, postgraduate mentorship and policy engagement.
