Mr. Sebota Mokeke

He is the Lecturer in the Department of Physics and Electronics and the member of the Energy Research Center. He holds MSc in Sustainable Energy from National University of Lesotho. His research interests include assessment of impact renewable energy generators to the grid, modelling simulations and optimization of microgrids, energy management systems and design and evaluation of solar thermal systems.

Solar Photovoltaic Systems Technical
Students will be able to design and assess small solar PV home systems for domestic applications, off-grid systems for village-wide mini-grids and larger utility-scale systems for grid-connection.
Aug 28, 2023 - Sep 1, 2023 | 3 months ago
Solar Thermal Systems Technical
Students will be able to design solar thermal systems for different applications  for domestic and/or commercial solar water heating, solar cooking, process heating and solar thermal power production.
Jan 29, 2024 - Feb 2, 2024 | 1 month from now
Renewable Energy Grid Integration Technical
The student will be able to model, simulate and optimize the integration of  intermittent renewable energy generators and assess their impact on the electrical grid.
