Mr. Mokili Talanyane


He is the Head of Electrical Engineering Programme and a Power Systems Engineering Lecturer at the Lerotholi Polytechnic. He holds an Electrical Engineering (Power systems) degree from the University of Cape Town (South Africa). His research interests are in: Interconnecting two power utilities with different operating frequencies using variable frequency transformer (VFT); Hybrid renewable energy sources (Solar-wind Hybrid systems); and Power Transmission using High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC). He has attended renewable energy training courses including wind-solar hybrid systems and Concentrated Solar Power solutions
