Mr. Teboho C. Thatho is a Chartered Accountant and development finance specialist with 15+ years of experience across financial services, telecommunications, and consulting. He supports the National University of Lesotho Energy Research Centre (NUL ERC) through the Projects Management Office. His work sits at the intersection of finance, policy, and energy planning, with a strong focus on renewable energy investment, energy access, and climate finance. Teboho holds two master’s degrees in Development Finance and Development Policy from the University of Cape Town. His specialized training in energy includes private power investment, energy economics, energy planning and African power market regulation. He is also a CFI-certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst. Teboho’s aspirations in the energy space centre on advancing renewable energy investment readiness, strengthening procurement and project finance capability, and supporting evidence-based policy reform to accelerate clean energy deployment and universal energy access in Lesotho and the wider region.
