• Experts from FFRC participated in the MSc in Sustainable Energy international Curriculum Development Workshop held in February 2017

Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), Austria

• A number of experts from MCI participated in the curriculum development workshop of the NUL MSc in Sustainable Energy in February 2018
• On-going collaboration in applying for collaborative teaching and research proposals
• A number of MCI academics attended the RERIS 2018 conference in Lesotho
• We have won an Erasmus Mobility grant that allows staff exchange between ERC and MCI

Lesotho Electricity Company

• Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between LEC and ERC in which LEC pledges to support ERC activities including its employees participanting in ERC programmes
• LEC played an active part in drafting and structuring of the MSc programme
• LEC currently chairs the ERC Advisory Board
• More than 15 participants were sent to all the 10 sustainable energy short courses in 2017
  
• Three LEC employees have enrolled in the MSc programme

Low Carbon Energy Development Network (LCEDN), UK

• Employed an ERC Assistant to help in the preparations of the RERIS-NULISTICE 2018 combined conferences
• Funded UK participants to the RERIS 2018 conference
• Funded the publishing of the RERIS conference proceedings which will be available from August 2018 published by Springer Nature
• Funded a participant from ERC to attend the 7th Annual LCEDN Conference entitled “Transforming Energy Access” in May 2018

• MOSCET & ERC have a long standing working relationship covering various aspects of renewable energy including solar and wind resource assessments around the country

• Installed the mini-solar PV farm on the roof of Thomas Mofolo Library

Solar Decathlon Africa - Jua Jamii

We are part of the Jua Jamii (Swahili for "Solar Community") team competing in the first Solar Decathlon Africa. A team of Pan African students’ competing by designing, building and operating the JUA HOUSE (net zero energy solar house using recyclable containers) with a soul mission to create and contribute to the development of green and energy self-sustainable buildings in Africa.
