From Lesotho to South Korea

ERC participates in international energy storage workshop in Jeju

Mr. Moruti Kao represented the NUL – Energy Research Centre at the 2026 Energy Storage System Workshop and Learning Visit in Jeju, Republic of Korea. The programme explored battery storage, renewable-energy microgrids and practical approaches to building cleaner and more reliable energy systems; providing valuable insights for Lesotho’s energy transition.

ERC strives to develop human resource capacity in sustainable energy (through short courses and a master’s programme) and to perform relevant research that informs national energy policy for sustainable development.
